"Tarot Wheel of Fortune", featured in the DTLA’s Hive Gallery’s recent Hive Tarot 11 show, is our take on the Wheel of Fortune tarot card. It’s been meticulously pyrographically burned onto wood and then hand-painted using acrylics. The border has also been burned, painted and embellished with found objects, patianed copper sheeting and brass and copper nails. The frame was created from salvage and reversed to use the old backside as the new front.
